We’re thrilled to introduce the new Bunkhouse Barndominium for nightly rental. Located in the Stable at Bear Mountain, the Bunkhouse is a luxuriously designed Barndominium.
It features:
- One bedroom with a King bed
- Another bedroom with a Queen bed
- A full kitchen
- A living and dining area equipped with an electric fireplace and a 50″ flatscreen TV
- A bathroom with a two-person jacuzzi and shower combination
- Central heating and air conditioning
- A Weber charcoal grill
- A two-person hot tub on the deck
The bunkhouse, once the trailhands’ apartment, has been transformed into a luxurious barndominium, perfect for your next getaway.

We would ask guests to respect the fact that all our cabins are no-smoking rooms. We reserve the right to charge an exceptional flat-rate cleaning fee of $200 if there is smoking in the room.
This cabin is for 2 adults, the exception would be for a baby.
We are glad to welcome your four-legged friend to Bear Mountain. The charge is a $50 pet fee per dog, and if it’ more than one dog needs pre approval. Terms and conditions apply.
We provide one bundle of wood. We do not sell additional wood. You are welcome to bring more. Please do not dump ashes near cabins.
Each unit has drip style coffee makers. We are proud to stock our own fresh roasted coffee from Bear Mountain Coffee Co. www.bearmountaincoffeeco.com
The Bunkhouse barndominium is situated on the south side of the stable,, on 4 separate acres that are a shared by the Presidential barndominium and coffee operation which are on the other side of the stable. There is plenty of open and wooded space to walk at Bear Mountain and Lake Leatherwood is just down the road with hiking and mountain biking trails (approximately .6 miles to the trails and it’s possible to ride out). The stable has a flat parking lot and plenty of room for a trailer.
The Chalet has a gas grill.
